Portfolio Construction & Risk Management (Select an individual below for more information)

The integration of FIS’s investment strategy and manager selection processes occur both at the portfolio construction and risk management levels to maximize our two alpha engines – Top Down and Manager Selection, on a risk-adjusted basis, over a market cycle. This part of our process focuses on investment strategy implementation, portfolio population and portfolio optimization. Our goal is to consistently implement our investment strategy and market views, while incorporating our client specific objectives and guidelines. We construct and optimize our client portfolio allocation alpha by optimally weighting highest scoring products to reflect portfolio strategy, as well as factor manager related client guidelines. Part of managing the portfolio risk and protecting the strategy and client alpha is through on-going monitoring of the strategy’s risk-reward profile, understanding the underlying managers’ organization, source of performance and adherence to compliance. Strategy changes are reflected in efficient portfolio rebalancing and proactive communication of changes with our client.
